"We are grateful that the National CompTIA Business Council would have the opportunity for the National Electronics Museum to contribute to this amazing exhibition," said David Logsdon, senior director of the Council of the CompTIA Space Company. "We expect more than 50,000 schoolchildren to visit the museum's exhibition next year and we hope that this exhibition will help inspire students to pursue careers in the fields of science and technology."
Logsdon said that member companies of the Council provided valuable contributions to the exhibition, which focuses on the benefits of satellites in the areas of communications, meteorology and remote sensing, navigation and GPS.
Through a touch screen, visitors can choose one of the six general topics, such as agriculture, the environment, news or entertainment. The opening of each topic reveals more information, presented with a clear and perspicacious text and incredible images. The interactive exhibition shows the spectator how satellites work, what they can do, and the advantages of satellite technology.
"Visitors are immersed in the real world of satellites," Logsdon said. "Whether you are tracking a storm or browsing a strange city, there are satellites to help them."
